Just a short review on what I considered to be one of my favourite car…the Aston Martin V8 Vantage…surely one of the coolest & best designed car running on our road right now!
We did a “Mini Detail” on this baby Aston, which like it’s bigger sibling the DB9, was designed by Henrik Fisker…more on the design of these cars a bit later. For now, the owner wants a simple sealant protection and have it’s convertible roof cleaned, water-proofed as well as having it’s interior thoroughly work on, so he choosed our popular 5-step interior and leather clean & treatment work on it’s beautifully leather’ed interior. Thankfully this car didn’t come with the piano-finished centre console which can be a pain to clean while keeping it scratch-free at all time!
The owner have just ordered a complete Mansory body kit as well as a new set of 20″ rims for his car and wants to wait until the kit have been installed before coming in for a full detailing work. That should be awesome judging by some of the pics I’ve seen on those Mansory-clad Astons in the mags!
In my opinion, I consider the Vantage (and DB9) to be one of the best proportioned car ever. It’s a classic yet modern Aston design that will still looked sexy in 20 years time. The performance from it’s 4.3L engine might leave some owners less than satisfied but a new 4.7L engine as well a V12 version should be out soon that will address this problem. Admittedly, the growl from this V8 is worth the asking price alone!
I’ll wait till the car return for a full detail work with more pics…
Here’s a couple of pics of the coupe who is on our weekly maintenance program…
…which do you like best? The coupe or the drop-top? Alas life is full of tough decisions ain’t it? 🙂
